I provide high-quality, goal-based tutoring to children grades K-12, as well as students of English as a Foreign Language. If you are a student of English as a Foreign Language, you will find more information about my EFL services here.

I am extremely dedicated and accept nothing but the best from my students. In addition to doing homework help, and perhaps more importantly, I challenge my students to think critically and become autonomous learners who are deeply invested in their education. I have experience in both teaching and tutoring, and I emphasize organization and study skills so that my students will continue to succeed long after I am their tutor. My goal is to make learning as enjoyable and efficient as possible.

In the interest of creating successful and confident students, I work with my students and their parents to set goals for my students’ learning. Setting goals and measuring students’ progress towards those goals not only allows them to see the gains they have made, but also encourages students to become invested in their own learning. In our first meetings, I work with my students to determine their strengths and weaknesses, while also helping them with the work they already have. We then work together to set an attainable goal and break it up into the concepts the student will need to master in order to succeed.

As we meet in subsequent sessions, I use my students’ homework, in addition to my own materials, to teach the underlying concepts and skills that my students need to reach their first goal. As we continue towards the student's goals, I use diagnostics so that both students and parents can see the progress we have made together. After each tutoring session I provide a report to the parents summarizing the work the student completed, their behavior, the concepts and skills we worked on, and any diagnostics showing the student’s current mastery level.
